For the third consecutive year, as part of the Science Festival, Sophia Antipolis will be celebrating on Saturday, October 13, and Sunday, October 14 for the third edition of the “Weekend of Sciences at Sophia Antipolis”, which will take place at the CIV and in the Parc des Bouillides. The program includes science workshops, a treasure hunt, and the “science on stage” show.
The “Weekend of Sciences at Sophia Antipolis” village brings together numerous science workshops in the Agora Space of the International Center of Valbonne, a large exhibition space that is widely open to the Parc des Bouillides, giving this location a scientific and festive dynamic for a weekend, in addition to its sporty and family-friendly aspect.
The now-essential scientific treasure hunt will allow participants to win many prizes by visiting the booths to discover the TREASURE.
Saturday will close with the science show “Notre terre qui รชtes aux cieux,” a piece conceived and performed by Jean-Louis Heudier, a world-renowned astronomer from Nice.
Intended for young and old alike, to be shared with family or friends, these two festive days showcase science in a different light.
A novelty compared to previous editions: if the weather is fickle, the celebration will be held indoors. Visitors can therefore reserve one of these days in advance to participate in this event, regardless of the weather.
