At the end of these presentations, two plaques will be unveiled in honor of the museum’s patrons and benefactor organizations, thus eternally engraving the names of those who support this youthful centenarian.

Why an Association?

The Friends Association of the Oceanographic Museum aims primarily to bring together members desiring to promote the Museum’s development and outreach and support its various actions in the domains of ocean knowledge and conservation. It is intended to develop patronage, create partnerships, and serve as an amplifier for our actions.

Oriented towards an international scope, the Museum will benefit from the expertise of its members and the Board of Directors, who already represent more than 10 different nationalities. A wealth that will allow them to foster support and generosity among Friends worldwide.

What benefits for the members?

The Friends Association of the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco offers its members four membership options: โ€œDiscovery,โ€ โ€œLoyalty,โ€ โ€œPassion,โ€ and โ€œBenefactor – Life Member.โ€

Depending on the chosen category, members receive various benefits, such as unlimited access to the entire Museum, numerous discounts on publications from the Oceanographic Institute and Boutique products, VIP invitations to exhibitions, events, and conferences, as well as exclusive behind-the-scenes tours.
The promise of a special relationship between the Temple of the Sea and its circle of Friends.

An Opening to Volunteerism

The launch of the Friends Association of the Museum paves the way for volunteerism. Candidates eager to enrich their knowledge of the marine world or share their enthusiasm with visitors now have the opportunity to join us, thus helping to perpetuate the work initiated by our Founder, Prince Albert I. Whether occasional or regular, the actions of the volunteers do not replace the duties of the Museum’s staff but are defined according to the candidatesโ€™ skills, aspirations, and availability. A reciprocal commitment in the service of the oceans.
