According to a press release received within the hour, the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis warns its residents against any sale of calendars offered by supposed agents in charge of waste collection.
The local metropolitan authority reminds that waste collection agents and staff from service provider companies are in no way authorized to carry out such sales.
If you receive a visit from individuals claiming to be from the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis to solicit calendar sales or ask for tips, you are advised to refuse them entry and report the incidents to your local police station.
Many city halls, notably in Paris, are also facing such issues.
