As part of its commitment to developing a new form of respectful tourism, Ecotourism, the Mercantour National Park has brought together local actors, partners, and institutions who work together for the creation of eco-tourism projects. At stake: the development of an activity with high added value for the region, the heritage, and the inhabitants of the Mercantour.

This day was, above all, a moment of exchange about everyone’s commitment to this approach, which is based on sharing common values for the preservation of our heritage and the central role of local operators in this activity.

The challenge for all participants is to make the park a flagship destination in ecotourism. They will position their involvement concerning the regional project soon to be submitted for the adhesion of the municipalities: the Charter of the Mercantour National Park.

The tourism operators of the Vรฉsubie have presented their approaches to creating eco-tourism stays that are now marketable.

The General Council, the Mรฉtropole Nice Cรดte d’Azur, the Regional Tourism Committee, the Departmental Chamber of Agriculture, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry each presented in turn the actions they are undertaking to achieve this shared objective.
