The Elective General Assembly of the Junior Chamber International Nice Côte d’Azur 2012 was an opportunity for the outgoing President, Thomas BARBERIS, to briefly reflect on his past year and the accomplishment of numerous projects such as debate cocktails with no less than 3 themes addressed.
The implementation of various projects such as debate cocktails with at least 3 topics discussed, raising awareness among young middle school students about the importance of waste sorting with visits to Véolia and Smed treatment sites, a project that will be taken over in 2013 by Jean Giono Middle School in NICE, were part of the program.
It was also the launch of projects such as enhancing the local economy with the “Made In Nice Côte d’Azur” project and the “Cross Créa” commission dedicated to young students in vocational high schools to introduce them to entrepreneurship.
These last two projects will come to fruition in 2013 under the presidency of Ferjani NEFFATI, newly elected as head of the Junior Chamber International of Nice.
The year 2013 will be decidedly economic for this Junior Chamber, which will also be committed to denouncing food waste, continuing to raise awareness among the young about sustainable development, and celebrating its 60th anniversary next April.
