16th Prom’Classic: 8,500 race bibs assigned!

Latest News

The Prom’Classic, the essential first 10 km race in France, will celebrate its 16th edition on January 11th. A classic in the world of running that has been sold out for several years now. And this new edition is no exception to the rule.

Indeed, the Prom’Classic has experienced an unprecedented turnout, as registrations were officially closed on Wednesday, December 17th, more than 3 weeks before the event, having reached the limit set this year, which was 8,500 entries. A new participation record for this 16th Prom’Classic!

The figures for this 16th edition

75% of the competitors come from the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, with 65% from the Alpes-Maritimes department.

Although the vast majority of competitors come from France (with all departments represented), it should be noted that the race still registers nearly 10% international competitors, a remarkable achievement for this first 10 km race in France.

Unsurprisingly, due to geographical proximity, Italy leads, followed by the United Kingdom and Switzerland.

It should be noted that female participation in this event is constantly increasing, with 36% of participants being women this year.
