By winning against Berre (28-23), Stade Niçois takes an important step towards qualification before their trip to Bastia next Sunday. The match and the victory were well appreciated by the spectators present.
At the end of a good rugby match between the top of the group and the 4th place, the Niçois achieve a well-deserved success but one that was hard-fought in the final minutes.
Thanks in particular to a very effective pack in line-out and scrum, and an Adrien Malavard in top form (23 points scored, one try and 6 penalties) the Niçois win this match and maintain the lead in pool 10.
The next match, still challenging, is next Sunday on the island against Bastia before hosting again at Arboras, the neighboring club of La Valette. Two good opportunities to extend their lead in the standings against Aubagne, who are second by 2 points, and Martigues, third by 6 points.
