In a city characterized by a strong right-wing sociology, the eastern districts, and especially the Ariane, the quintessential working-class neighborhood, are the traditional grounds for the Nice left’s electoral campaign.
And it was only natural that Robert Injey and his fellow candidates from the Left Party and the Alternative Left, with whom he represents the list “Human First,” launched the electoral campaign for the 2014 municipal elections at the Lino Ventura theater before a large audience of activists and supporters.
The communist candidate, in the presence of Jean-Luc Mรฉlenchon, who was touring the region and concluded the evening with a speech focused on national, European, and international politics, sic!, developed the classic themes of his anti-Estrosi argument and called for radical changes in economic and social policy.
Patrick Allemand and the socialists and greens also received their share of criticism as local representatives of the government toward which a clear desire for a break was vigorously expressed. Robert Injey sought to highlight the differences between the “real” left and what he called the “liberal” left.
The appointment is set for Thursday, January 30, for the presentation of the project and the list that on March 23 will ask the people of Nice to express their support.
As for the second round, it will be another chapter of the novel or rather… the romance!
