Located near the Allianz Riviera, the former City horticultural nursery on Chemin des Barraques has been completely redeveloped and is now open to visitors.

It is true that during this period, ribbon-cuttings are not uncommon. But, that’s how election campaigns work… And then, once the work is done, why not show it off as well?
In fact, this area covers 1.6 hectares and thanks to the planting of nearly 500 trees belonging to about twenty different species, such as the Dwarf Palm, Canary Island Date Palm, Hackberry, Carob Tree, Holm Oak, not to mention the Olive Tree, this new landscaped area retains its original spirit.
Walkers can thus stroll along the educational trail to discover the plants, have lunch in the dedicated picnic areas, or enjoy the recreational zones and lawns with their families.
It’s still better than nothing, even for the grumpiest, isn’t it?
