Signing of the partnership agreement between PAUL DI NATALE, Vice President of the Nice Côte d’Azur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Yves MONFERRAN, President of the Outdoor Hotel Association of Alpes-Maritimes (SHPA 06)
This partnership for better management of water, energy, and waste concerns the 60 members of SHPA 06.
The outdoor hotel industry, with more than 100 campsites in the Alpes-Maritimes department, faces a double challenge:
– Finding alternative solutions to best manage their waste in light of the closure of the Glacière waste treatment site
– Complying by July 2012 with the new classification terms to acquire stars in terms of sustainable development.
The Nice Côte d’Azur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, engaged in an action program to help businesses manage waste, and the Outdoor Hotel Association of Alpes-Maritimes have decided to sign a partnership agreement for economical management of water, energy, and waste through waste pre-diagnostics, information meetings on existing channels, an exchange of best practices, and personalized advice in implementing installations.
