Departmental Elections 2015: The Left Front Plays the Card of Renewal and Youth

They could be called “Bob and the others”… After the presentation of the candidate duos canton by canton, the Left Front brought together the group of candidates from the Nice territories for this election, which will undoubtedly have political repercussions.

In fact, the new cantons, although not really constituencies, are also not the old local cantons (especially for the rural ones, which is not quite the case for the people of Nice).

The gradually decreasing visibility of the General Council means that voters who go to vote (a new record for abstention?) will most likely be motivated by political reasons.

As an opposition party, the Left Front wants to take advantage of this circumstance to give momentum to its ideas and programs, which are struggling to emerge in the political debate, especially as the working classes, traditionally protest-oriented, have opted instead for the National Front option.

In short, the predictions are not optimistic, and the hope would be to have at least one duo of representatives (veteran Francis Tujague in the Paillon Valley?) present in the future composition of the new Departmental Councilโ€™s assembly to ensure, for lack of anything better, the right to speak.

For this reason, Robert Injey, who will directly engage in a difficult battle in Nice East, has deployed a renewed team on the ground, with many native Nice inhabitants and young people who will be trained to prepare for future elections.
