Nice makes solidarity a celebration!

Exclusion, injustice, individualism… These observations could feed fatalism if they did not find their opposites: Generosity, mutual aid, sharing… This convivial event aims to highlight the work of all in the face of precariousness. Conducive to meetings and sharing, this week of solidarity offers a large number of activities and gives each association the opportunity to present their actions. This year, solidarity is on display!: A yellow ribbon matching the color of fraternity becomes the symbol of this week and will be distributed at each event…

The City of Nice is organizing a large solidarity festival in partnership with the Alpes-Maritimes General Council and local associations that, like them, are committed daily to fighting exclusion.

This convivial event aims to highlight the work of all in the face of precariousness. Conducive to meetings and sharing, this week of solidarity offers a large number of activities and gives each association the opportunity to present their actions.

Guided tours, shows, exhibitions, collections, sports… are on the program with 4 highlights:

– The opening of the EXPO 6 “Another Me…” on Monday, October 10 at 6:30 PM at the Galerie des Dominicains in Nice,

– The life stories “Words from the street…” on Tuesday, October 11 at 3 PM at the Louis Nucéra library,

– The Futsal tournament on Saturday, October 15 at 9:30 AM at the Charles Ehrmann stadium,

– The sharing time as part of the world day of refusal of misery on Monday, October 17 at 5:30 PM at the Sainte Réparate Cathedral.
