This new astronomy project, the installation of a 410 mm diameter telescope intended for direct sky observation at the International Center of Valbonne (CIV), is part of the teaching and knowledge dissemination mission of the Nice Academy and is carried out in partnership with the Observatory of the Côte d’Azur (OCA).
The François-Giraud Telescope welcomes students and teachers in small groups for discovery, initiation, improvement, and training sessions.
This operation is part of the Science Festival 2011.
