Latest News

Emmanuel Ethis, rector of the Nice academy, on the occasion of the inauguration of the 27th Press and Media Week in the Schoolยฎ, launched Cap’Radio, the 1st continuous broadcast academic webradio.

Cap’Radio, www.ac-nice.fr/capradionice, will be broadcast live across nine platforms with students ranging from kindergarten to BTS, press group officials, representatives of academic services, etc., to talk about their activities related to Media and Information Education.

More than 80 students, teachers, and parents are expected for this launch.

Cap’Radio aims to host programs from various school webradios of the Alpes-Maritimes and Var regions.

It is a means to highlight the productions of students and teachers involved in audio media production.

It is an educational tool that allows for work on both writing and speaking. It also enables students to acquire skills in collaborative work and citizenship education.

Sponsored by France Bleu Azur, Cap’Radio will broadcast numerous thematic programs to inform students, parents, and teachers about the news within the academy.

For five years, the Nice academy, through its liaison center for media and information education (Clemi), has encouraged the production of digital school media. Delegates from the Academic Delegation for Media and Information Education (Daemi) have met with teachers in the Var and Alpes-Maritimes to train them in its use.

Since then, the number of webradios in the academy has increased significantly. Today, the Clemi team leads by example by creating the first continuous broadcast academic webradio in France.
