Marie-Christine Arnatu does not hide her satisfaction: ‘The voters of the Alpes-Maritimes gave the candidates of the National Front a historic result yesterday: the National Front will be present in the second round in 23 cantons of the department.’
Before adding: ‘It is clear today that the only energetic and constructive opposition in the Alpes-Maritimes to the Estrosi-Ciotti system is the National Front. I invite all the voters of the department, not only those who supported our candidates yesterday but also those who abstained or voted for other parties, to mobilize next Sunday to build on the first round’s success.
Only a National Front vote will allow the election of opposition departmental advisors to prevent Eric Ciotti and Christian Estrosi from standing alone against themselves.’
Having come out on top in the cantons of Grasse 2, Cagnes 1, Cannes 1, Nice 4, and Nice 7, the National Front is amplifying and strengthening its foothold in the department and is advancing by 8 to 16 points in all the cantons of Nice.
