Second consecutive defeat for Stade Niçois’ first team against AUC with a score of 15 to 13.
The first team was defeated 15 to 13 against a valiant Aix team fighting to stay in federal 3. Despite a convincing start, the Stade Niçois players could not find solutions to score during their possessions. Penalized too often, the Niçois faced a well-organized and aggressive defense throughout the match, preventing them from establishing their game. However, following a grubber kick behind the defense, Maël Parcheminer went between the posts to score the only try of the match with 2 minutes to go! The hardest part seemed done, but another mistake gave Aix’s kicker the chance to land a penalty from nearly 45 meters just at the final whistle!
The reserve team continues its fantastic run, claiming their 10th consecutive win against AUC with a score of 24 to 10. Nonetheless, thanks to two moments of brilliance in the final moments of the match, the red and blacks scored two 80-meter tries in less than a minute. The team earns the offensive bonus with 4 tries scored, solidifying their first place with 3 matches remaining before the playoffs…
