In just ten editions, the European Days of Crafts (JEMA) have become the largest event of the sector in the world. Orchestrated by the Chamber of Trades and Crafts of the Provence-


Alpes-Côte d’Azur region (CMAR PACA), JEMA invites young people and the general public to discover, over the course of a long weekend, the current state of crafts in all their diversity.

In the Alpes-Maritimes, here is a small “Favorite” selection:

  • Biot Crafts Circuit: Exhibition market, guided tours of art workshops (from April 1 to 3 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Town of Biot),
  • Meetings in the art workshops of Old Cannet: Demonstrations of expertise, interactions with art craft professionals (Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. – Le Cannet),
  • Crafts and know-how in Vallauris: Meet the teachers and students of the Municipal School of Fine Arts Ceramics, conference, demonstration, children’s workshops, and guided tours at the Vallauris Castle Museum (from April 1 to 3 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Vallauris),
  • In Nice, traditional crafts looking to the future: Exhibition of bronze statues, presentation of craftsmanship techniques (Friday, April 1 from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. – Prefectural Palace),
  • Promenade des métiers d’art in the heart of Nice: Temporary exhibition bringing together around twenty talented artisans and artists to present their latest creations (Sunday, April 3 from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. – Place du Palais de Justice).
