For many years, tens of thousands of migrants have been fleeing war and persecution in their countries and dying at sea while attempting to reach Europe.
AdN, Amnesty International, ATDQMNICE, CCFD, Cimade, COVIAM, Habitat & Citizenship, LDH, Friends of Democracy, MRAP, Migrants’ Pastoral, RESF06, Secours Catholique Caritas, SOS Racisme, UNEF organized a silent march from Place Masséna in Nice (corner of Gioffredo Street) to the Centenary Beach (opposite the Verdure Theater), where each person tossed flowers and olive branches into the sea.
