The Laureates of La Ruche 2011 will be in stage residency at the beginning of November 2011.
They are therefore ready to work on their show on stage, in professional conditions.
Since January 2011, the laureates of La Ruche have been working on their artistic project at the CNRR of Nice and with the association Imago on administrative modules (Management, accounting, performance rights and obligations, SACEM, music contracts, etc.), as well as on the legal environment of the artist, remuneration methods, and the intermittent performer status in the entertainment industry.
These stage residencies will be led by the artistic guide and trainer Patrick Vogel.
Co-founder and instructor at the GRIM-EDIF school in Lyon since 1993 and consultant in “psychoacoustics and auditory perception.” Trainer and coach for teachers aiming to obtain the state diploma (D.E music teacher and Contemporary Music), ARCADE in February 2004, then at Citรฉ de la Musique since March 2007 (within the framework of the Validation of Acquired Experience). Graduate of the jazz music school A.I.M.R.A (Lyon โ 1989) and a sound engineer.
This residency is a 3-day working period allocated to groups for their artistic project that has been recognized as relevant by the Jury of “La Ruche.”
It is a provision of human and technical resources of a performance hall and professional external consultants. This stage work will allow groups to work on a scene under professional conditions. Groups will also be able to prepare their new show by developing a scenography work (decoration, lights, etc.).
Coach Patrick Vogel will intervene with selected groups according to their needs. Three work axes will be developed: BALANCE โ MOVEMENT โ SPACE. The objective is to progressively bring trainees to integrate, to their advantage, all conditions of an audition (in the presence of a jury), the technical and acoustic conditions, the relevance of the proposed work, and the stress management necessary for a good performance.
LITTLE D BIG B (Rock)
Formed since 2009 by four ambitious young musicians, LITTLE D BIG B is the new rock signature bursting onto the Nice scene! Drawing their influences from multiple musical worlds, LITTLE D BIG B has managed to create a real alchemy between a colorful and powerful contemporary rock sound and a more 70’s touch, mixing psychedelia and sharp sound. After performing on numerous stages, LITTLE D BIG B has already successfully imprinted its British touch in the PACA region and has managed to conquer a large audience in a short time. Winner of the semi-final of the ZIK ZAK springboard at the Lino Ventura Theatre and selected for the “La Ruche” project, LITTLE D BIG B will release their first EP at the beginning of November.
BOLEAL TRIO (Jazz)
The Bolรฉal Trio is a project created a year ago by three musicians influenced by various backgrounds. A classically trained pianist (Bรฉatrice Alunni), who turned to jazz and never looked back, a percussionist drummer (Cรฉdric Ledonne), passionate about Brazilian music, and a double bassist who loves swing (Mathieu Bonizzoni).
Their common denominator? The same desire to share their passion in all simplicity, each with their musical personality, and the pleasure of playing together…
