Local unionism of the CGT takes a significant blow in Nice. Stรฉphane Joulin, the former CGT union representative at Semiacs, the company managing Nice’s parking lots, has been indicted by a Nice investigating judge.
He was brought before the court this Wednesday and charged with “moral harassment at work.”
The information is circulating on the websites of another union that does not hide its unreserved satisfaction.
Close to the Pierre brothers, departmental secretary of the CGT and active supporter of local power on more than one occasion, and to Michel Otto-bruc, the CGT member had supported the defense of former general manager Henri Alonzo in the criminal case that saw the latter convicted of a prison sentence for sexual harassment.
More recently, a report from the Regional Chamber of Accounts had highlighted a management system in which the representatives of the union center were actively involved and derived personal benefits.
Once again, the Otto-bruc’s were active in denying the facts.
