Four young girls aged 12 to 15 from clubs in Alpes Maritimes will represent France at the upcoming World Aerobic Gymnastics Championships in the age group category in June 2012 in Bulgaria. These young athletes must cover all expenses up to the uniform representing their country.
Four young girls full of courage: three from the Garde de Menton club and one from the Biot club have joined the Hope Pole of Gymnastics in Aix-les-Bains two years ago.
With 20 hours of training per week and a return home to their families for two days a month, these young athletes will have the chance and honor to represent France in the upcoming World Championships. The 2011 season reflects their commitment: double champion of France, gold medal at an International Open…
Poorly publicized and supported, their discipline requires athletes to finance all annual expenses (about โฌ10,000/year) as well as those related to competitions (France uniform, travel, accommodation…).
Considering this injustice, the Aรฉro06 association was specifically created to support these young champions. This association conducts various activities and seeks financial partners to help these children achieve their dreams and proudly represent the colors of France.
The Kiwanis of Menton has chosen to support them through a donation of โฌ1,500.
This donation allows the Aรฉro06 association not to meet its goal of covering expenses but to hope and continue working for these young athletes who can begin to envision their participation in the World Championships.
