This Friday, December 9, 2011, a football match will be held within the prison. Organized by LICRA with the support of the Sports Directorate of the city of Nice, this match will bring together inmates and civil society personalities in a friendly sporting event: Eric Vu-An, director of the Nice Ballet, Franck Ferrari, baritone, Marc Raquil, Bruno Valencony, Jeff Tordo, Sofiane Milous, Loรฏc Pietri, athletes, and other figures from the realms of justice, social cohesion, and LICRA.
It should be noted that other actions in prisons are funded by the Urban Community of Nice Cรดte dโAzur as part of the Urban Social Cohesion Contract. They all contribute to reducing and preventing the risks of recidivism.
Some examples include accommodation and social reintegration of inmates upon their release with the Actes Foundation, textile arts workshops with the LโEnrayure association in the womenโs section with the possibility of going out to sea, and citizenship courses by the Montjoye association, etc.
