Tal is a young French girl living in Jerusalem with her family. At seventeen, she is experiencing many firsts: first love, first cigarette, first piercing. And first terrorist attack, too.
After a suicide bomber explodes in a café in her neighborhood, she writes a letter to an imaginary Palestinian in which she expresses her questions and her refusal to accept that only hatred can reign between the two peoples.
She slips the letter into a bottle and entrusts it to her brother to throw into the sea near Gaza, where he is doing his military service.
A few weeks later, Tal receives a response from a mysterious “Gazaman”…
