The Euro is approaching and the promotion of this flagship event of French sport is in full swing.
It was in Nice that the special Train with the UEFA Trophy made a stop yesterday during its journey along the country. It will remain there until Sunday and can be visited by sports enthusiasts and curious onlookers.
Inaugurated in the presence of the mayor of Nice, Christian Estrosi, and the president of the departmental council, Eric Ciotti, the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony was followed by a guided tour of the Train.
The planned activities within the 5 thematic cars will provide the public with a 100% “celebration and football” experience. The interactive and touchscreen displays positioned along the Train will allow viewing of the best football moments from UEFA EURO competitions.
The applications available for download on mobile phones will offer the chance to sing with David Guetta or stay updated with the latest “posts” from the official UEFA EURO 2016 account.
In the afternoon, the UEFA EURO 2016 Trophy took its place in a car and paraded around the city, stopping at symbolic locations to the delight of both young and old who indulged in their other favorite “sport”: photography!
