Meet us at 5:30 PM at the reflecting pool on the Promenade du Paillon! For the launch of the Nice Jazz Festival and to add some pep to the Fรชte de la Musique, a grand challenge will be launched: to form the world’s largest human saxophone in order to enter the Guinness World Records 2015!
If jazz is rooted in the history and culture of the city of Nice, achieving the record for the world’s largest human saxophone for the launch of the Nice Jazz Festival 2014 also pays tribute to Adolphe Sax, born in 1814. He is the creator of the saxophone, an essential instrument of jazz and the emblem of the Nice Jazz Festival 2014.
And afterwards, music! Throughout Nice and especially on the Place Massรฉna stage from 7 PM with the first concerts of the Nice Jazz Festival Off…
