The renovation of the Moulins district is progressing

Latest News

The Moulins neighborhood is undergoing, until 2017, an urban renovation project with the ambition of: opening up the neighborhood and integrating it into the urban development dynamics of the lower Var Valley, creating an East-West axis running through it, and the requalification of public spaces, diversifying and improving housing, developing services and facilities, promoting employment, strengthening the action of associations, and developing and revitalizing businesses.

This Monday, the residents of the neighborhood discovered the progress of the work being carried out on Santoline Street.

Previously a private road, Santoline Street is currently being redeveloped to become a public road open to traffic. It will be accessible from the Mercantour Boulevard and will lead to Mahonias Street.

The requalification of public spaces is a major component of the Moulins urban renovation program. Roads are being created to open up the neighborhood and allow for smoother movement of people and vehicles. Facilities are being built or renovated to enhance the quality of life for residents.

On this occasion, the mural of the “Les Mosaรฏques” residence, created by more than 80 residents aged 6 to 93 years, was also unveiled as part of the “Living Better, Living Well Together” competition.
