The Heritage Center makes way for the Mission that is set to lead the candidacy of the Promenade des Anglais for UNESCO World Heritage listing and moves into the new premises located at the heart of Cours Saleya, on Place Pierre Gautier.
New address and plenty of new features to make the discovery of the rich historical heritage even easier for locals and visitors.
The new headquarters will also have new hours and, as a novelty within a novelty, will remain open even on weekends: From Tuesday to Sunday inclusive, from 10 AM to 5 PM.
From July 2nd to September 15th, the Heritage Center offers tours 7 days a week, in the form of 3 guided walks:
Nice at Heart: Explore Old Nice through its picturesque squares and alleys, its markets, churches, and baroque palaces.
Every day at 10 AM, except Monday. Duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes, departure in front of the Heritage Center.
The Fort of Mont Alban: Visit this fort built in 1560 that offers a unique view of Nice and its surroundings.
Every day at 3 PM, 4 PM, and 5 PM, except Wednesday. Duration: 55 minutes, departure in front of the fort.
The Crypt: Presentation of the remains of the medieval city fortifications.
Every day at 2 PM, 3 PM, and 4 PM, except Monday. Duration: 55 minutes, departure at Place Jacques Toja (near Place Garibaldi).
