The Olympic Movement is known for contributing to building a peaceful and better world by educating youth through sport practiced without discrimination of any kind and in the Olympic spirit, which requires mutual understanding, the spirit of friendship, solidarity, and fair play.
Olympism is a philosophy of life, exalting and combining the qualities of the body, will, and mind into a balanced whole.
This annual meeting of the sports movement aims to encourage the practice of sports and promote the teaching of the values of Olympism.
The Alpes Maritimes Departmental Olympic and Sports Committee offers 2 Olympic days with a multitude of sports and educational activities supervised by certified instructors from departmental committees during these days.
The Olympic days will be held this Tuesday, June 14th in DRAP and Thursday, June 16th in CANNET.
They will bring together 1,200 schoolchildren, including 400 in Drap and 800 in Cannet.
