Jazz à Juan 2014: An Exceptional Vintage!

Latest News

At the time when the 54th edition of the Antibes Juan-les-Pins International Jazz Festival “Jazz à Juan” comes to a close, it is clear that it has garnered the trust and support of the widest audience.

This edition also confirmed the strong international influence of the festival, with 33 represented nations (accounting for 30% of ticket sales).

Everything was very positive this year, especially the shared friendship to be shared again next year, for the 55th edition!

Leading the way were the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Germany, Norway, the Netherlands, Italy, and Belgium. Additionally, and more typically, the PACA region particularly endorsed the festival.

In only 7 ticketed evenings (8 in 2013), “Jazz à Juan 2014” gathered a total number of spectators similar to that of 2013, namely 16,600 paying spectators, which represents an increase in attendance of +13.9% per evening (nearly 300 additional sales per concert).

Taking into account the two complimentary and highly sought-after evenings (a full house each night), not to mention the seats allocated to sponsors, partners, and guests, “Jazz à Juan” therefore attracted more than 26,000 spectators for this 2014 edition!

With the two stages of Jazz Off, welcoming an average of 1,000 people each day, with the Jazz Club each night after the concerts, also with the “Best Of Du Off” evening on July 17 (over 20 concerts offered in the streets of the city), with various musical activities provided by partner establishments, not to mention the two daily parades of the “Trouble Fête” marching band in the streets of Antibes and Juan-les-Pins, “Jazz à Juan” gathered this year, at the very least, more than 50,000 spectators.
