This Sunday, August 24, Antibes Juan-les-Pins will celebrate the 70th anniversary of its liberation.


liberation_antibes.jpg On this occasion, parades, an exhibition of vintage vehicles, a concert on the cathedral square, a public dance, and fireworks are organized to celebrate this day of remembrance, reflection, but also joy and newfound freedom.

Ceremony: In the meantime, the Antibes Juan-les-Pins Harmony Orchestra will perform military marches

18:00 Gathering at Place de Gaulle and formation of the official procession

18:30 Ceremony at the Monument to the Martyrs of the Resistance

Speech by the Deputy-Mayor and placing of wreaths by representatives of veteran and patriotic associations, and by the Deputy-Mayor

20:15 Public concert by the Antibes Juan-les-Pins Harmony Orchestra
