This is the outcome of the decision by the interim relief judge of the Council of State, published yesterday afternoon, to whom the administration of this renowned school in the department had appealed after the suspension of the accreditation deliberated by the Ministry of Health following the advice of an independent commission highlighting a number of deficiencies.
If the decision is suspended, the Ministry will have to re-examine the case within a month. The situation looks favorable for the fifth-year students who would have lost the validation of their diploma: the magistrate stated that the commission had a “scholastic and repressive approach without any consultation. There was no adversarial procedure in this matter.”
The school administration is already preparing for this new deadline: “We hope that in the context of this new examination, already requested in our appeal to the Minister of Health, Marisol Touraine, and refused, exemplary impartiality will be respected, fully taking into account this opinion of the Council of State on the grounds.”
The students of the school, who a few weeks ago had loudly protested at Place Masséna, can almost certainly do so again, but this time, to express their joy.
