Tour de France à la Voile: Team Lorina Limonade – Golfe du Morbihan wins its 10th victory in 16 races

Latest News

Yesterday morning in Nice, the Tour de France à la Voile paid its respects at the Memorial set up in Albert 1st Garden. The race then resumed for its 9th and final act with a 30-mile Coastal Raid.

The start was launched off the Promenade des Anglais, on the east side, with passing points at Cap Ferrat and the Nice airport, on the opposite side. Two local obstacles to avoid: the ferry passage to Corsica, which is frequent at this time of year, and the airport area.

In a wind of about ten knots, Trésors de Tahiti led the race during the first part before Team Lorina Limonade – Golfe du Morbihan, already crowned the winner yesterday, took over for a victorious finish. The Tahitians of Teva Plichart finished 2nd ahead of Oman Airports by Oman Sail.

This morning, the Diam 24 fleet will compete in the last Nautical Stadium of this Tour de France à la Voile, promising an exciting battle among Crédit Mutuel de Bretagne, Grandeur Nature Véranda, and Team Coved for a place on the podium.

Provisional overall ranking after 16 races:

1. Team Lorina Limonade – Golfe du Morbihan (Matthieu Salomon & Quentin Delapierre)
2. Crédit Mutuel de Bretagne (Nicolas Troussel)
3. Grandeur Nature Véranda (Jean-Christophe Mourniac)
4. Team Coved (Aurélien Ducroz)
