The agreement between the Departmental Council and the French Association of Terrorism Victims, granting a subsidy of €100,000 to support the victims of the July 14 attack, was signed yesterday by Eric Ciotti and Guillaume Denoix de Saint-Marc.
In addition to the subsidy paid to the French Association of Terrorism Victims, several actions have been deployed to meet the needs of all victims, whether direct or collateral.
These include “a support and listening unit for families” and also “support for children who lost a parent during the attack,” explains Eric Ciotti. €500 will be allocated every month to each child until they reach adulthood.
For Guillaume Denoix de Saint-Marc, “it is important for the support to be felt,” and he is aware of the difficulties, stating, “This is a tailored task; each family is different, and the needs will vary over time, so we must adapt to the needs,” he continued.
The conference ended with the signing of the agreement between the two parties.
