There should be a bit more responsibility in the exercise of public office and much more restraint when you bear certain surnames and question… where you come from.
Demagogues only thrive in complacent nations.

Last night (editor’s note: Tuesday to Wednesday), the front of the departmental federation’s offices of the PS was completely covered with anti-refugee slogans.
This is an act perpetrated by cowards, who operated in the middle of the night and who do not own up to their hostility towards war refugees by only referring to them as illegals.
It once again demonstrates an unhealthy political climate in our department where the mix-up and lies about refugees have become a tool to maintain fears three months before the regional elections.
I immediately filed a complaint so that those responsible for this act can be found, and I want to thank the municipal and national police for their involvement. Political debate must take place according to democratic procedures. Those who attack the properties of political organizations must answer for this before justice.
