Created in 2008, the “Victoire du Paysage” serve as a showcase for projects, from the smallest to the largest, which embody the implementation of the Green City on the ground and reflect the commitment of the trade association, Val’hor, to make landscaping a national priority.
The Promenade du Paillon, which will soon celebrate its first anniversary, will be one of the 131 candidates for this award. To achieve this, it must be part of the final selection of projects or win the public prize awarded based on online voting.

The Promenade du Paillon
With its 40,000 m² of planted spaces in the heart of the city comprising 1,600 trees, 6,000 shrubs, and 50,000 perennial plants and grasses, the 128 water jets in its water mirror, or the 576 misting nozzles in its misting area, the Promenade du Paillon has become an integral part of the Nice cityscape.
Seven developments from the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region have been pre-selected from 131 applications for the second stage of this national competition.
The Jury, representative of the entire professional landscape sector and influential stakeholders, is currently visiting these different sites to evaluate the landscape arrangements before the final deliberation on October 2nd, during the Grand Jury chaired by Erik Orsenna.
