Three days after securing a fifth-place finish in the 50m (with a new French record to her name), Elodie Lorandi found her wide smile again.
The 27-year-old swimmer from the French Riviera clinched a bronze medal in the 100m, S10 category (lower limb impairment).
In her third participation in the Paralympic Games, the Cannes native still aims for another medal in the 400m, a discipline in which she holds the title.
Her primary goal in Rio was to retain her title in the 400m, a race to be held this Thursday, but in the meantime, she can already be pleased: since Beijing, she has brought back six medals, and she still has a good chance to add another in her favorite event.
