In the heart of the golden square, Alphonse Karr Street, known for its weeping willows and luxury boutiques, hosted the fall-winter 2016-2017 collections in the open air this Friday.
On its high white podium, hundreds of spectators gathered in an admirable atmosphere to watch stunning models and, most importantly, breathtaking outfits.
For the past 10 years, thanks to the support of the city of Nice and Jacqueline Harroch, president of the association “J’adore Fashion Karr” (JFK), six prestigious boutiques have taken their inspirations to the street. Creations for every taste.
From emerald green, navy blue, burgundy, mustard yellow, beige, gray… And some touches of vibrant colors representing the collection.
Styled by Riva Coiffure, curls are the highlight, and with makeup by the hands of the Tanagra institute, the eight top models showcased day and evening outfits.
Kantzé opened the show, with chic sporty and elegant outfits for an urban woman. Navy blue cropped pants paired with glitter sneakers. The final outfit is a glittery black and blue dress, accompanied by a black veil. Sublime.
The “Chic London” look is revealed by the Cap Cod boutique. Leather perfecto. Long coats in beige or dark colors. Flat boots. The “stroll in the forest” collection rightfully fits its name.
The Ekyog brand, known for its eco-friendly textiles made from natural materials, displays comfortable outfits. Apparel to feel good in your skin. Ethnic patterns with “happy green” colors adorn the much-loved clothes.
Chacok. This year, the mixed or solid print of the brand takes the spotlight. The collection aimed to revisit the history of fashion with outfits in electric blue, still burgundy, green, and gray in fluid and daring materials.
Lastly, 8 Couture. A brand highly appreciated by fashion enthusiasts. Colorful and leopard fur, soft colors to enhance women, “Vichy” prints, and a magnificent “Giorgio Armani” evening outfit. A long black glittery dress, open in the back, that will leave a mark.
