The comments made by the nationalist Philippe Vardon are in line with the character’s style and, coincidentally, they are the same as those made by Eric Ciotti during the General Assembly in the discussion of the “anti-terrorism” law passed last week.
@ECiotti (Sept 15): I raised the issue of revoking nationality for dual nationals. When those who went to Jihad are dual nationals, it is legitimate to deny them access to our territory.
These are complicated and difficult times, but the responsibility of those in public office is not to “play” with the emotions of the population for political objectives by pouring oil on the fire, instead of trying to put out the flames.
