Cโest pas classique, a prestigious festival organized by the General Council, has attracted over 450,000 spectators in a decade.
This musical event has become a must-see, meeting the challenge that motivated its creation: to introduce classical music to the greatest number of people and to show that art is not the privilege of an elite but the heritage of all.
A unique concept and a high-quality program for an ever-growing audience
For three days at the Palais Acropolis, everyone can attend a piano recital or a philharmonic concert for free, participate in interactive workshops, and even become, for a moment, a diva or a tenor.
More than 500 artists, musicians, singers from conservatories and music schools in the department, as well as renowned names in classical music, perform there.
The success of Cโest pas classique is also due to the presence of iconoclastic artists, bringing new creativity to this musical world.
To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Cโest pas classique hosts a renowned patron, pianist and composer Jean-Franรงois Zygel.
Around the two major ensembles supported by the General Council – the Philharmonic Orchestra of Nice and the Regional Orchestra of Cannes – great performers will honor us with their presence.
