An evening filled with gratitude and honors for these women who dedicate themselves to a shared passion: sports.
In an associative world where everything happens quickly, where the economic context offers less and less room for serenity, the Côte d’Azur Regional Olympic and Sports Committee gathered and presented thanks from the entire sports movement of the Côte d’Azur.
Often women and mothers, with sometimes demanding professional roles, they manage their League or their Committee with a strength that inspires respect.
Yet, even in 2014, a woman’s position at the head of an associative structure remains controversial, and her skills are not always recognized.
In a “macho” environment or with a still stereotyped hierarchy, women often have to create their own place and prove themselves.
