As part of the Theater Fortnight, one event stands out: the anniversary of the most Niรงois among them: the Francis Gag Theater. In 1936, Francis Gag officially created his Niรงois Theater.
In 2016, his troupe continues to work in accordance with the path he set, serving Nice and its County, its language, and its traditions.
“It’s a beautiful anniversary we hope to celebrate with you, through a conference. We will retrace in just over an hour eight decades of a bustling activity: 26 plays, more than 2,000 performances for tens of thousands of spectators…” explains Jean-Luc Gag.
This Sunday at 3 PM and 5 PM at the Francis Gag Theater, this retrospective is to be shared: videos, photos, and anecdotes.
