Parc Phoenix and the Association of Naturalists of Nice and the Alpes Maritimes are organizing the 47th Mushroom Fair.
As every autumn, mushroom enthusiasts gather for this now essential seasonal event at Parc Phoenix.
Numerous varieties of mushrooms collected from all over the Provence Côte d’Azur region will be showcased.
Visitors will thus find various information on site, learn to classify mushrooms according to their characteristics, and recognize those that are edible, toxic, psychoactive, or even deadly.
Depending on the weather conditions, 300 to 600 species will be displayed. Mycologists will be available to identify visitors’ finds and offer advice. Porcini, Lactarius sanguifluus, chanterelles, golden chanterelles, small grey mushrooms, milk caps, and fresh boletes picked by members of the Naturalists Association await you at Parc Phoenix during this All Saints’ Day weekend…
