Two weeks before the regional elections, the National Front candidate would come out largely on top at the end of the first round and on the evening of the second round.*
The FN score rises after the attacks: the list led by Marion Maréchal-Le Pen would obtain 40% in the first round, whereas it was previously garnering 37% of voting intentions.
She would lead ahead of the LR-UDI-MoDem list of Christian Estrosi, credited with 30% of the votes (32% before the attacks).
The PS-PRG-MRC list led by Christophe Castaner would obtain 16% of the votes.
No other list would exceed the 10% threshold necessary to remain in the second round.
In the second round, Marion Maréchal-Le Pen would obtain 41% of the votes, ahead of Christian Estrosi (34%) and Christophe Castaner (25%).
