It is within the Eco-Vallรฉe area and more specifically in Saint-Isidore, next to the Allianz Riviera, that IKEA had the opportunity to set up. The launch of the operation was the subject of a memorandum of understanding, signed on April 12, 2013, between Christian Estrosi and the CEO of IKEA France.
Yesterday, the promise of sale was signed by Christian Estrosi and Emma Recco, Director of Development at IKEA.
The start of construction is scheduled after UEFA EURO 2016 and delivery is planned for the second half of 2018.
This project will be integrated into a balanced ensemble, composed of housing, services, and several other activities. Jean-Michel Wilmotte, the designer of the Allianz Riviera, will accompany IKEA on this path.
The installation of this IKEA store will create 350 jobs.
