On the occasion of the Week for the Employment of People with Disabilities, a day in favor of the employment of people with disabilities will take place this Friday, November 21, at the Carrefour Market store in Nice Gorbella.
During this day, people with disabilities seeking employment, internships, or apprenticeship contracts will be able to go to the store to:
– Submit their applications for positions at the Carrefour Market stores in Nice Gorbella, Nice Mont Boron, Nice Californie, Nice St Andrรฉ la Roche: store managers will be present at a stand at the store entrance from 9 AM to 4 PM.
– Discover store professions (commercial employee in departments and/or at registers, commercial employee in traditional departments (fishmonger, fruits and vegetables, deli/cheese), butcher, manager, etc.) during two presentations of the careers.
Since 2005, when its first agreement was signed, Carrefour Market has been committed to a proactive policy in favor of people with disabilities: recruiting and integrating people with disabilities, retaining employees with disabilities, and training and informing teams.
More than 900 people with disabilities have been recruited over the past nine years, bringing the total number of employees with disabilities at Carrefour Market to nearly 1,600.
In 2013, the employment rate of workers with disabilities was 5.37% by the end of 2013, including 6.29% in the Southeast region.
