In response to the invitation from Madame MONDEUX, the Principal of Sasserno Elementary School in Nice, Deputy Rudy SALLES visited Madame POUSSIN’s fifth-grade class for a hands-on civic instruction lesson.
The occasion allowed the parliamentarian to explain the role of a Deputy and how the National Assembly functions.
The students, very attentive, then engaged seriously in a Q&A session, eager to learn everything about the National Assembly as well as the Deputy’s personal journey (Why did you want to become a deputy? How long have you been one? Would you like to be President of the Republic?).
They also asked questions highlighting current events, like the student who inquired why she now has school on Wednesday mornings.
A moment of simplicity and conviviality that may inspire future vocations… two students expressed their desire to “become” deputies when they grow up.
