As part of Pink October, the “Friends of LACASSAGNE” Association presented Professor Joël Guigay, Director of the Antoine-Lacassagne Center, with a check for €1,500.
This amount represents the proceeds from a charity concert produced under the “Musi’CAL” label, which presented the very attentive audience with the vocal ensemble “la Sestina,” conducted in turn by the winners of the conducting course organized by the French Musical Confederation. This event was previously covered in the columns of the local press.
The purpose of the Association is to provide hospitalized individuals with some comfort items that would be difficult to budget for within the regular administration of a healthcare facility, and thus the revenue collected is exclusively dedicated to this use.
In this latest presentation of the check, it is perfectly aligned with its goals as the €1,500 will be used to equip the rooms at the Antoine Lacassagne Center on the 4th Surgery floor with shower stools, sock aids, freestanding shampoo basins, hair dryers, and folding chairs.
