Elected by 64.5% of voters representing 58.1% of registered voters, the former President of the Republic has regained the position he held from 2004 to 2007.
The two heavyweights of the department did not take long to congratulate him.

Will this victory be a sufficient springboard to position oneself and, above all, take the lead in the 2016 primary?
This is far from a landslide: A bit more than 100,000 votes (and a few clicks) does not make a popular movement! For someone who aims to position himself as a Messiah, one might have hoped for better.
