“Nissa Pantai-Centre Cultural Occitan País Nissart e Alpenc” has just published the Calendari Nissart 2017, the 13th edition.
Its sales will help finance the activities of our cultural center and Radio Nissa Pantai.
This year, it highlights cultural, festive, and musical events (7 local groups in the spotlight):
For Genoier (January), it’s the Occitan Dictation in Nissart with the Sasserno students and adult learners. And the announcement of its 15th edition in Nissa on Saturday, January 28 at 2:30 PM at the Espace Associations Garibaldi, with the author, for the first time, being a woman: Cecilia Laurenti.
For Febrier (February), it’s the World Championship of Palhasso throwing, held since 1990 in Nissa St Ròc, an event that heralds the Independent Carnival of Nissa, which will take place on Sunday, January 29 at 3:00 PM at Place St Ròc.
The competition is open to participants ages 3 to 99 from all real or imaginary countries. Free entry.
For Març (March), it’s the Independent Carnival of Nissa, held since 1990 in Nissa
The 28th Free Independent Carnival, with flour, joy, and fantasy.
For Abriu (April), the Festin dei Cogordons.
For Mai, photos of a magnificent Balèti with the group Tchatchao that we organized at the Royal Palace in Nissa (known as Sardinian).
For Junh (June), Nawal Nourid, the first woman to commentate soccer in Nissart on Radio Nissa Pantai, and a photo of the tribute to the 86 victims at the Nissa stadium.
For Julhet (July), the bandstand in the Albert 1er garden covered with stuffed animals and flags in tribute to the victims of the Promenade des Anglais.
For Aost (August), the Mourra game in Ilonse and a Lou Dalfin concert with the Nissart Joan-Paul Faraut in Saluzzo.
For Setembre (September), presentation of the Local Currency: Nissart in the Lou Carretoun shop (Jaurès Boulevard).
For October, photos of the 2016 Occitània Festival: Zou mai aquí from Toulon, Zine, and Nissa Pantai from Nissa, Barbaluco from Paillon and Grasse. The 20th Occitània Festival will be held on October 8 at 3:00 PM at the Francis Gag Theater.
For Novembre (November), the show “Catarina Segurana!” by the Théâtre de la Semeuse with Sylviane Palomba.
Finally, December, the 10th-anniversary celebration of the musical group Lu rauba capèu in Levens.
