The Lenval Foundation and the association “Les Blouses Roses” organized a drawing contest during the summer with the hospitalized children of Lenval.
72 drawings were collected thanks to Les Blouses Roses, as well as with the help of the pediatric department and the various services of the Hospital.
A jury (composed of Les Blouses Roses, the Ladies of Lenval, Catherine Moreau representing the Mayor’s office of Nice, and the technical services) met at the end of September and selected 5 drawings, which will become luminous decorations created by the BLACHERE company.
These luminous decorations will be displayed until January 5th on the Promenade du Paillon at the children’s play area.
The city of Nice invites you this Friday, December 12, 2014, at 6 PM at the children’s play area on the Promenade du Paillon for the inauguration of these luminous decorations inspired by the children’s drawings.
A small train will be waiting for the children and their families to take them along the Promenade du Paillon to admire their illuminations as well as those of the City of Nice. Afterward, there will be a distribution of chocolate Santa Clauses at the Promenade du Paillon and hot chocolate will be served.
The drawings that were not selected have been laminated and will be given to the children present on Friday. For those absent, the drawings will be sent.
